Its main objective is to detect whether the tumor is solid or liquid in order to determine its benignity.<\/p>\n<p>Most women know that from a certain age it is very important to have regular breast checks. Prevention always plays a prominent role, but there are diseases that can be detected in time with the location of the existence of cancer cells and putting a rapid treatment changes completely the evolution of these. This occurs, for example, in the case of breast cancer. In addition to the examination that gynaecologists carry out in the consulting room, diagnostic tests are also essential as a screening method, to find out if everything is in perfect condition or if there is a reason to be alerted. The most common are breast ultrasound and mammography.<\/p>\n<p>Breast ultrasound is a test that examines the breasts using ultrasound. Through a small device, called a transducer, the doctor can see the image of the patient&#8217;s breasts. On its own, this test is usually not sent as a cancer screening test, but as an adjunct to it. However, in women with dense breasts, with less fatty tissue, the inclusion of an ultrasound in the protocol improves the detection of this disease.
